JAMS is reinventing the peanut butter and jelly sandwich with better ingredients — and adding one of sports media's biggest voices to the ownership group.
JAMS is a modern, athlete-backed reinvention of the classic frozen PB&J sandwich. Ten grams of protein per sandwich, no seed oils, no high-fructose corn syrup, no dyes and jelly made with real fruit. Founded in 2025 by Connor Blakley of Nashville-based Dropout Companies, JAMS launched with a simple premise: convenience food shouldn't require compromising on ingredients.
The brand is already on shelves at Walmart and Target nationwide.
This isn't a cold outreach deal. The JAMS team had been sending product to The Pat McAfee Show set for months before any partnership conversations started. McAfee and his crew became daily consumers — and that organic buy-in eventually led to him joining as Co-Owner.
For McAfee, it's also deeply personal. PB&Js were a staple throughout his childhood in Western Pennsylvania, his college career at West Virginia and his eight years in the NFL — pre-game meals, post-practice recovery, team flights. When he became a father, he wanted a version he could feel good about giving his family. JAMS was it.
"Those are my roots. To be a part of a brand that sells a product that reminds me of where I come from and has been a consistent part of my life in every stage is what it's all about."
— Pat McAfee
McAfee joins an athlete and creator investor group that already includes Alex Morgan, Caleb Williams and JJ Watt. The brand also recently named Andrew Strife — co-founder of LesserEvil Brand Snack Co. — as CEO, signaling a serious push into the next phase of growth.
Expanded retail distribution, new flavors and sports partnerships are all on the roadmap for this summer.
Clean-ingredient snacking is no longer a niche wellness trend — it's where the food industry is heading, and athletes are driving the conversation. JAMS is betting that the most universally loved childhood snack is also one of the best categories to upgrade — and they're building the ownership group to prove it.
